R2013a Mac OS X (Intel 64-bit) Download and Installation Instructions

    Click the Installer Mac Download button to download the matlab_R2013a_maci64_installer.zip file to the desktop or any other convenient location. Some browsers, such as Firefox, save files to a default location, so you may need to configure your browser to prompt for the location to save the downloaded file.

    If your browser doesn't automatically uncompress the matlab_R2013a_maci64_installer.zip file, double-click the file to open it with StuffIt Expander. In either case, a directory called matlab_R2013a_maci64_installer will be created in the same location as matlab_R2013a_maci64_installer.zip.

    Open the matlab_R2013a_maci64_installer folder and download all product files to this folder. (Alternatively, you can download the files to a convenient location and then move them to this folder.)

    Double-click the InstallForMacOSX icon located in the matlab_R2013a_maci64_installer folder to launch the Mac installer. When prompted, log in to your MathWorks Account, select the license you want to install, and provide the information requested on each screen. 

    When the installer asks if you want to proceed with activation, click Next. Activating right after installation is recommended. To get help for any part of the activation process, click Help on that screen.
